This replica Daimler CC Bus was built on a Renault chassis and entered service in 1987. It is still running thirty years later in 2017.

The model was built from a Keil Kraft London B Type Bus kit with almost all of the floor removed before being assembled. It has a chassis made from 1½ mm black plastic card glued to the ends of an N sized battery box and is fitted with a Faller lorry front axle, steering arm and rear wheels and the 1:64 motor / gearbox which were all supplied by DCC Train Automation. The battery holder, the normally closed reed switch and the on / off switch were from other sources.
