No.280 was built in 1935 and was converted to a towing car in 1961 and renumbered 680. It was never permanently coupled and often operated singly. It last ran as a twin car in 1972. Withdrawn for overhaul in 1989, it last ran in Blackpool in 2008.

It arrived at Beamish in January 2014 on loan from Heaton Park Tramway and left in March 2015..It is now on loan from Heaton Park to Blackpool Heritage Fleet where it is operating in its renumbered form as No.680.

The model is made from a resin Kitchen Kits body and is fitted with a Mark Hughes tower and an Alan Kirkman Halling based chassis.
