John Reed Edis and his daughter Daisy were Photographers and William Smith was a Chemist in Durham in the early 1900's and both occupy this building which opened on May 6 th 2016. It is a reversed replica of a grade 2 listed period building on Elvet Bridge in Durham and was built to fill the vacant corner site in the Town.

Visitors can have their photos taken in Edwardian costume at the Photographers and can watch, and purchase, aerated flavoured water being filled in the bottled water outlet of the Chemist.
